Chilli con Carne
Translated chilli with meat is an original Texan specialty. Depending on how open you are to the hot flavours, also depends the amount of chilli peppers used which you can grow even on your own balcony!

Ingredients
| 4 | |
| 800 g | baby beef without bones (of shoulder joint or leg) |
| 1 tablespoon | Vegeta |
| 250-300 ml | water |
| 25 g | corn flour |
| 1 tablespoon | Wochestershire sauce |
| 1 teaspoon | powder cumin |
| 1 teaspoon | brown sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | thyme |
| bay leaf | |
| 2 | garlic cloves |
| 50 ml | oil |
| 3 | hot peppers |
| 150 g | onion |
| 1/2 teaspoon | cayenne pepper |
Preparation
- Cube the baby beef and fry shortly on oil.
- Add chopped onion, 2 chilli peppers previously cleaned off seeds and cut into rings, bay leaf, pressed garlic, thyme, cumin and Vegeta. Mix it all well and sauté by adding water.
- When the meat is almost soft, add sugar, Wochestershire sauce and cayenne pepper. Mix the corn flour with chopped pepper cleaned of seeds and sprinkle over meat.
- Mix it all well and pour water over it. Cook all together for another 10 minutes.
Serving
This piquant and tasty meal serve with corn bread.
Advice
Dose the hot peppers to your own taste in this dish. It can be served with fried polenta.
This meal can be frozen
Freezing: Divide into portions, place in bags and then in a dish and freeze for 2 hours. Dive the dish in hot water shortly to remove the bag and return it in the freezer.
Unfreezing: Thaw the dish partially so that you can dump it out in a pan and heat up over slow fire adding water gradually.
Durability: to 60 days.
